History

DAMAS were founded in 1863 by the young Danish artisan Jens Nielsen, who had just designed and constructed his first grain cleaning machine. Jens Nielsen's objective was "to meet the customer's requirements" - something that earned him numerous awards, among these a gold medal at the World Exhibition in the year 1900 in Paris.

DAMAS share the same objective today and the company has since long established itself as one of the leaders in the market. "To meet the customer's requirements" implies that DAMAS manufacture machines for all uses within cleaning, grading, and processing of grain and seed for all types of crops - in all parts of the world!
